Medication-Assisted Treatment Options

Methadone Treatment

Methadone is a medication that helps treat people living with opioid addiction. It stops the effects of other opioids, helps curve cravings, and makes withdrawal symptoms easier to handle. At BAART Programs, we ensure that our methadone treatment is tailored to each individual based on their needs.

Buprenorphine Treatment

Buprenorphine is another medication to treat opioid addiction. It works a bit like Methadone but has different benefits. For example, you might not need to visit the doctor as often. Our providers ensure that our buprenorphine treatment is suitable for each individual.

It has been a long road to recovery i have been at this clinic for as long as my toe nails there is no place like home at barrt . I am looking forward to better days with staying at baart . It has been over 30 years in and out here with doing detox when they offered that. I have finaaly got sober and stable with my dose of methadone that helps me stay stable now, I will say you get what you put in if no effort no nothing. I have gone through a lot of counselors along the way some were good . I have juanita as my counselor now she is caring, and talks to me alot about addiction and staying sober that really helps me stay on my toes. I appreciate her more than she knows. thank you to the rest of the staff that is nice to you know who you are.

This place has been good for me. It helped me get better. Everyone is so nice and helpful as soon as I walk in there. My counselor Isabel has been a great help and I couldn’t ask for a better counselor than her, she’s been helping me with so many things. And the nurses also are very nice especially Bonnie.

WONDERFUL experience. Juanita is the best counselor ive ever had. She helps me run an honest program due to her compassion, energy and all around comforting nature. And let's not forget Bonnie and Esteban at the despensing windows. They both always have smiles on there faces. Whenever I leave BARRT Van Ness always leave with the same thought... Maybe recovery is possible.

I have been going to this clinic for four years as of the 27th of this month. In that time I have had I'm guessing 10 or more counselors that would just make up notes or copy and paste past counselor sessions so they wouldn't have to put much if any effort into helping me stay clean. Yes they mostly are nice the rare times I saw them and all but nothing ever was done to help me until I requested my newest councler Monica. She has been helping me for just a handful of months but in that time she has done more to help me see this threw then all others before her. If not for her I would probably been threw a couple more short time councler and still in a limbo state of recovery. Best desition I have made is to request her to be my counselor. I still got a long way to go but I'm now better then I was before and with her help I can see myself getting where I need and want to be in time. So long story longer if not for her I would just be stuck with no end in site. With her I see myself having A day where I'm no longer needing to use anything to get threw life.

Monica has been such an amazing councilor .
The staff are always friendly and know everybody by first name .

I want to give a big thank you to Esteban at this clinic. Every time I’ve come in, he’s greeted me with a big smile and such a positive attitude—it honestly makes a difference.

He has a way of making you feel comfortable and cared for right away, which isn’t always easy in a medical setting. You can tell he genuinely enjoys helping people, and that energy carries over to both patients and the rest of the staff.

Esteban is a great example of what patient care should look like. The clinic is lucky to have him, and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.
