So my counselor is Tricia Story if you want a counselor that will call you on your stuff hold you to your goals and that really cares about your well being Tricia is definitely it she has given me the tools and knowledge to stay clean for a long time I have had two counselors since I have been here and Tricia has been my counselor the better half of almost 9 years clean and she has been a major part of. My name is Candace Hamilton and I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation and gratitude to Mona Ryner for her help during the years that I have been at the Baart program.Mona is understanding and compassionate along with being non judgemental.I've been coming to Baart since November of 2012 and have had a few counselors and Mona is at the top of my list. She knows her stuff and keeps me on my feet. Ms Debbie is the best of the best. She is so caring and has been my rock for years. She takes care of her patients. She actually cares. The clinic is the best I've been too. It might have some rough ppl coming through but the workers and nurses are amazing. The ladies at the front are amazing. I love it there.

I have been receiving treatment for a few years and my life has changed for the better. My counselor Mona is super supportive she is easy to talk to and makes you feel like a person and not an addict. I would definitely recommend her to someone.

I want everybody to know that Tricia Story is about the greatest counselor I've ever had here the whole 8 years she ain't nothing but the cat's pajamas. I am damn near done with my treatment

This morning, I started working on my New Year's resolutions for 2023. As I look at the things that worked well for me in 2022, that allowed me to earn my Take Home Supply, attend my doctor's and Dentist appointments, improved my diet and start my exercise program, etc... I realized that the only thing I did myself... was to get out of my comfort zone. Then, right after that, the image of my dear Counselor Debbie Boggs materialized right before my eyes.She is directly responsible for my success! First of all, She has great listening skills! My previous Counselor [Donna S.] mentioned such, and also said to me that once she is done taking the pulse of the participants, I better pay attention because she will have a solid idea of who we are and what our needs are, and what follows is the implementation of her program.Debbie has a unique and totally original way to convey her ideas and instructions. I noticed that she always takes a pause afterwards... to allow the words to resonate in us, and always re-stating her point to make sure we get it. She is a sensitive professional and a receptive human being.She possess a wonderful relaxed tolerance on life's challenges and she always gives us opportunity for self-expression and deals with us with intelligence and her intense desire to help us by keenly appreciating our situation and our feelings.At the same time, she is FIRM but manages to convey the rules without wounding or discouragement. Been going here for a few years now. For the most part the staff here really try their hardest to accommodate for everyone. This is probably the biggest center in the Sacramento area. I’ve been blessed with good counselors here myCurrent is Patty she’s awesome!!

I've been calling around this morning trying to find places that would allow me to guest dose while I'm in from out of state on family business. This is the only clinic I've talked to while had someone who answered the phone virtually at all, much less in a coherent fashion, knew what she was talking about, had all of the information on how to get started on a temporary basis, & didn't give me any run around or transfer me anywhere. She (Margot, I believe) was incredibly nice, knew her sh*t, & didn't have to ask someone else how to do her job (while other clinics had only maybes or "I'm not sure" or "there's no guarantees" while they transferred me to other people to do their jobs). I'm looking forward to coming here & being able to receive treatment with no hassle from kind people ♡
